Pamela Colleen Downes

May 27, 1953 September 29, 2012 Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee to William and Sarah Sanders, Pamela moved to Alaska at the age of 18.  She met Neville Downes there and they married.  They moved to Oregon in 1979 where Pamela became a cook at Eves Restaurant.  She worked more than one job as she was a housewife and mother of 5 children.  Her husband passed away in 1993 and in 1997 she moved to Idaho where she lived for 12 years.  She returned to Oregon in April of 2012 and lived with her son Todd and his family.  Pamela enjoyed camping, shopping and spending time with her family and grandchildren.  Pamela passed away from a long battle of C.O.P.D. and lung cancer.  She will be missed tremendously for she has touched all our lives.  Pamela is survived by her children; Neville Keith Downes of Idaho City, ID, CJ Downes of Sacramento, CA Todd (Chrysa) Downes of Turner, OR, Virgil Downes of Idaho City, ID, Dorris (Tony) Wittman of Sweetwater, ID  She also leaves behind 6 grandchildren, Shawn, Marissa, Shylah, Tylor, Sam, Zabreina and Levi.  Services are pending.
