Oregon Stayton

Stayton, Oregon Janet M. Anderson, 65, of Stayton, passed away on Tuesday the 5th at her home.  The daughter of Edward and Alice Koehn.  Janet was born in Turlock, California  and moved to Oregon in 1959.  She attended Scio high school and had lived in Scio 50 yrs.  She was married to Bill Anderson on Dec. 22, 1963 in Carson City, Nevada.  She had worked as the cafeteria cook for  Scio grade school for 11 yrs.  She received her CNA certificate and had worked for Dr. McIntyre for 13 yrs.   They moved to Stayton in August of 1998.  She enjoyed sewing, gardening, bike riding and cooking and most of all spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her beloved husband, Bill, she is survived by her daughters, Theresa (  Kevin )Price of Corbett, OR, Beth (Ron  )Betker of Stayton; sisters, Marge (Curt)  Jantz, Lillian (Delbert) Unruh, Elaine (Stuart) Rhodes, all of Scio; brothers, Willis(Belinda)  Koehn of Scio and Robert (Louetta)  Koehn of  Connell, WA; 4 grandchildren, Kelsey, Tyler, Rachel and Brianne Visitation will be Monday, April 11th from 9 am – 4 pm at Weddle Funeral Chapel, Stayton. Funeral Service will be held  Tues. April 12th at 11:00 am at the Mennonite Church in Scio. Vault interment at Miller Cemetery, Scio, OR. Arrangements entrusted to Weddle Funeral Services Stayton, OR.
