Oregon Gates

Gates, Oregon  Agafia “Angie” Smith passed away after her battle with cancer on August 25, 2012 in Salem.  She was  51 yrs. of age.  She was born April 1, 1961 in Ponta Grossa, Brazil.   The daughter of Konstantin and Anastasia Snegirev.   She has lived in Gates for the last 30 yrs. having worked as a Subsitute Teacher’s Aide for Santiam Canyon School District.  She was also a Homemaker and Mom.  She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Smith; sons, Jonathan Smith, Christopher Smith; grandson, Maxwell Moore; sister, Marfa Shutov, Donna Ensign and Kathy Goss; brothers, Fred, Petro and Mark Snegirev. Celebration of life was held Saturday, September 1st at the First Christian Church in Mill City. Memorial contributions may be made to Chelsea’s Sanctuary of Hope Society.
