Norman Dale Rogers was born April 22, 1943, in Portland, Oregon, to Clarence and Charlette (Adams) Rogers. He lived in Hermiston, Oregon growing up. After graduating from Hermiston high school, Norman attended Eastern Oregon College and Portland State University where he earned his bachelor’s degree. While attending Eastern Oregon College, he met his future wife, Joanne Chapman. They married, lived in Beaverton, Oregon for a short time then moved to the Donald area and raised two sons together. Norman worked as a paint expert at Rhodda Paint for 25 years and on the side, he taught fine art to adults. He loved oil painting and was a talented artist. He was a devoted husband and father and loved being a grandpa. On October 7, 2021, Norman passed away at his home in Donald, at the age of 78, surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Dennis. Norman is survived by his wife Joanne Rogers, sons Travis J. Rogers and Rick T. Rogers. A daughter in-law Jennifer married to Rick, having two children, Brock T. Rogers, and Elle K. Rogers.
