Norma Lynn Stephensen, born on December 19, 1958, in Neph, Utah, passed away on
January 9, 2024. She was the beloved daughter of the late Joyce L. Unthank and Ruben
G. Stephensen. Norma is survived by her loving siblings, Ruby Turner, Julia
Stephensen. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Stanley
Baumgardner.
Norma's warm and compassionate nature touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible
mark on those fortunate enough to know her. She had a childlike spirit that endeared
her to everyone she met. Her infectious laughter and genuine kindness will be fondly
remembered by all who were fortunate enough to share in her joy.
As a member of the Church LDS Relief Society, Norma dedicated herself to helping
others and being an active part of her community. She found joy in the company of her
fellow church members and took pride in contributing to the well-being of those around
her.
Norma found solace and happiness in the simple pleasures of life. She had a passion for
taking leisurely walks, finding joy in the beauty of nature that surrounded her. Her love
for cats was evident to anyone who entered her home, and she cherished the
companionship they provided. Norma also had a creative side, enjoying the art of
coloring and the intricate craft of crochet.
She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and a genuine love for life. Norma will
be deeply missed by her family and friends. She is survived by several nieces and
nephews, who will forever hold dear the memories of their beloved aunt. May she rest in
eternal peace, surrounded by the love and joy she brought to the lives of those who were
fortunate enough to call her family and friend.
