Norma Irene Jamison, born on March 15, 1951, in Portland, Oregon, passed away on November 6, 2023. She was the beloved daughter of Pete Bremmer and Norma Nonne Johnson, whose memory she cherished throughout her life. A graduate of Lane Community College Business School, Norma dedicated her professional life to the Lane County Public Defender's Office, where she served as an Administrative Assistant until her well-deserved retirement.
She was a loving and wonderful mother to her three children, Apryl, Brook and Steven. She was also blessed the last 23 years with the loving companionship of Stephen. Together, they shared a special bond and over the years created many memories. Outside of her professional life, Norma found joy in various hobbies, including sewing, crocheting, puzzles, gardening, crossword puzzles, and even indulging in the virtual farming world of Farmville. Baking brought out her creative side, and family time was cherished above all.
Norma had a special place in her heart for animals, and her feline companions Sabi and Missy, along with the many strays that visited, were recipients of her boundless affection. Her love for animals reflected her kind and nurturing spirit.
She was predeceased by her parents, and siblings, Sharon (Abbott) Prigmore, and Ronald Abbott.
Norma is survived by her significant other of 23 years, Stephen Tyburczy; children, Apryl Jamison, Brook Jamison and his wife Athena, and Steven Jamison and his wife Crissy. She was blessed with grandchildren, Stephanee, Ella, Paige, Abby, Chloe, Christopher, Bentley and Noah. All her grandchildren brought warmth to her heart. In addition to her siblings, Robert Scott, James Bremer, Susan (Bremer) Mitts, Henry Bremer, Patty (Bremer) Erfurth, and Kathryn (Bremer) Eastwood.
