Nichola Jo Bellerive

Nichola passed away peacefully at home after a two year battle with cancer. She was born in Bethany, Missouri, to Wilbur and Mildred Crabtree. She graduated from Downey High in California in 1968. Nichola was preceded in death by her parents and two eldest sisters, Rita Burr and Brenda Balfour. She is survived by her siblings Beverly Davis, Carolyn (Bill) Morey, Donald Crabtree, Marlena Shepherd, and Michael Crabtree; children Carrie (DJ) Sword-Hartz, Sherry Schulze, and Jason (Chrystal Cardiff Liskey) Bellerive; grandchildren Alexis Bailey, Zachary Moore, Zachary Schulze, Elijah Moore, Madeline Schulze, Olive Liskey, and Noah Bellerive; and great-grandchildren Silas Moore and Paige Bailey. Nichola moved to Silverton, Oregon, in 1980 and fell in love with the town. She loved to garden which aided her as she worked most of her career as a research assistant at Sun Seeds in Brooks. Nichola taught her children the value of hard work and enjoyed vacationing in Lahaina, Maui. She was known to offer assistance to all and was happiest when she was helping others. Thank you, mom. for the sacrifices you made for your family and all your love and support. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
