Neil Lawrence Thomsen

Neil Thomsen was born on January 2, 1943 in Long Island City, New York. He was born and raised in New York. Neil had an amazing career in which he was vital to recovering and maintaining records of the Chinese Exclusion Act. He was also involved in a movie that received an Emmy, and Neil had a special acknowledgement.He also had many published books with thanks or dedications made to him because of the assistance he always gave to others. He loved books and was an avid collector.In addition to his wonderful career, he was also a proud Marine who served his country. Neil passed away on March 30, 2020 and is survived by close family and friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Margaret “Peggy” Thomsen.
