Nancy Joan Emery

We have been unable to locate family for Nancy, but through information gathered from various sources, we believe she was born in New York, probably Buffalo and then adopted. She attended Norwitch University in Vermont and earned a master's degree. She moved to California and attented the San Luis Rey Academy and became a nun for a time.  She left the convent at some point and later married Clinton Eugene Emery in 1974. Nancy and Clinton lived in Cottomwood, Arizona, and Port Angeles, Washington. She never had children of her own and was widowed in 1987.  Nancy worked as a teacher and counselor during her life. At some point Nancy moved to Oregon, living in Corvallis and eventually was moved to a care home in Scio, where she passed on Christmas Day, 2020.
