Michelle Marie Duclos

Michelle Marie Duclos was born December 29, 1962, in Frankfurt, Germany, to Melvin Leroy and Sandra Joan (Bourbeau) Murray. When the family moved back to the US, they settled in Eugene, Oregon, where Michelle attended school, graduating from Marist High School in 1981. She attended Oregon State University with her best friend of around 50 years, Kirstin Kerber. Michelle married Kenneth John Duclos on April 2nd, 2016 in Albany, Oregon. They blended their families and raised their four children together in Jefferson, Oregon, where they lived for over 20 years. Michelle and Ken owned their own small business, which they ran together daily, doing industrial machining. Faith and family are what defined Michelle, and she valued the time she spent with her family and church body. She enjoyed the simple moments spent with her grandchildren making cherished memories, especially swimming together. Hosting family BBQs and just being surrounded by the ones she loved was the delight of her life. Michelle was a faithful member of her church, St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Albany, Oregon, where she sang in the choir.  Michelle also loved nature, the outdoors, and all living things. She adored her dogs and could often be found with Ken, riding their bikes around with multiple dogs in tow.  She liked to watch the hummingbirds and found peace in driving down random roads just to explore. Her favorite flower was an old-fashioned moss rose, and she loved a good Mocha. She was always on the go and much of her time was spent outdoors and working on their property. Michelle was loving, smart, joyful, beautiful, and selfless. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and always did what she said she woul. She was a bright light in the lives of those around her, always encouraging and supporting everyone.  On September 20, 2021, Michelle suddenly and unexpectedly left this world and entered into the waiting arms of her Savior. She was preceded in death by her parents Melvin and Sandra, and her grandma Eva Mae Murray. Michelle is survived by her beloved family including her husband Ken; children Stephanie Renard, Steven (Alexis) Renard, and Stacy (Jordan) Testerman; stepson Alex (Jill) Duclos; grandchildren Jayden, Harper, Kamdyn, Kaleb, Alder, Bryce, and Zach; and brother Collin Murray.
