Michael Lavelle Callison

Michael Callison (54) tragically passed away on the 12th of October, 2022.

Michael was born in 1968, September 15th. He grew up and lived in and around the town of Kingsburg for the first 49 years of his life. He then made the leap and moved to Oregon to be near his parents and remaining siblings.

He worked at a variety of jobs as a teenager and young man, but worked the longest (approximately 20 years) at the Sun Maid raisin plant.

He had a passion for riding dirt bikes, motocross, boating and fishing. He also loved to cook, read and listen to a variety of genres of music.

Michael wasn't afraid to be affectionate, and his playful, wisecracking sense of humor made him beloved by a great many people.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Dakota; brother, John, and both sets of grandparents; two aunts and three uncles.

He is survived by his son, Josiah and his wife, Jessica; parents, John and Shirley; sisters Shawn and Sarah; nieces, nephews, great nephews and a large extended family of loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Michael will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
