Michael G. Large

Michael Gene Large December 29, 1950 April 26, 2015 Stayton, Oregon Michael was born in Salem, Oregon to Norma Jean and Olin “Mike” Large. After graduating from high school, Michael joined the Army and served in Vietnam. He married Alisea Renee Horner in Reno in 1986. They settled in Stayton and together they raised two children, Landon and Serenity. Michael worked as a flagger for O.D.O.T. He loved fishing and spending time with his grandkids. Michael was preceded in death by his parents. He will be greatly missed by his wife Alisea; children Landon (Allycia) Forsythe and Serenity Forsythe; grandchildren Isaiah Forsythe, Maleah Forsythe, Abbigail Forsythe-Fiederer, Barron Forsythe-Fiederer, Keira Forsythe, and Kaleb Forsythe; siblings Dan (Lorel) Large, Connie (Karl) Jacobson, Lonnie (Rhonda) Large, Gary Large, and Brian (Katherine) Large. A Celebration of Life with Military Honors will be held on Saturday May 2, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Weddle Funeral Chapel in Stayton, followed by a potluck at Landon and Allycia’s home.
