Michael Levi Barnes

With profound sadness we announce the death of Michael Levi Barnes AKA Mikey Barnes. Beloved Son, Husband & Father on January Thursday January 16,2024 at 6:25am at the young age of 36. Mikey was a very vibrant light in everyone’s eyes. With the biggest heart who NEVER turned down helping others regardless of the circumstances. He was extremely blunt with an “ It is what is It, and an “I don’t care “ attitudes. And had capabilities of having a big knowledge and smart sets of skills. Making him rarely able to come up with very little solutions for ANYTHING in his life that was thrown his way. The outdoors in the woods and the beach were his favorite places to be. He had a deep love for camping, hiking, swimming hunting and especially fishing. But also loved to work on things with his bare hands such as electronically repairing things for loved ones like computers and devices and loved his work in the construction industry where he was an extremely talented and very quick hands on learner. He built houses from the ground up, add ons to buildings from the ground up as well as fixed things others had messed up and found peace and enjoyment doing so. He will ALWAYS & FOREVER be cherished by family & friends, as well as LOVED & MISSED by EVERYONE who didn’t let his exterior intimidation trick them which they learned to love his true protective, outgoing, love & kindness to all who spent any amount of time with him and his easy going laid back tell it like it is making him VERY easy to love with his giant heart of gold and respect he showed everyone who showed him respect despite his lack of filter and called it like he saw it. Mikey is survived by his father Vernal Barnes, Mother Tamie Barnes, his Wife Karisa Barnes, and his four children he loved more than anything. His eldest Miliani Bathke, followed by his two sons Brody & Maxwell Moody and his youngest daughter Kiana Barnes

A viewing to ONLY SEE HIS BODY TO SAY GOODBYE before his body gets cremated will be held Friday January 31,2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Weddle Funeral Service located at 1777 N. Third Avenue Stayton Oregon 97383

A potluck celebration of life to come join family, friends & loved ones will be held at another time.
