Michael Alan Akers

Michael Allen Akers Selmer passed away on New Years Even 2021 due to complications from his ongoing fight with cancer. Michael was born in Salem, Oregon on August 27th, 1978. He finished his fight on the last day of 2021 at the age of 43. He spent most of his adult life as a mechanic working all over Oregon. He has always prided himself as the fixer of anything and everything. Besides work, he enjoyed camping with his family. He is survived by his wife, Sierra; son, Damian; son, Ryder; daughter, Shawnee Ray and granddaughter, Addalyn Rose. He is also survived by his mother and stepdad, Cheryl and Rick; brothers, Harley, Keven & Eric; grandmother, Shirley; Uncles, Jim (Patty) and Mike (Clara) in addition to many other family and friends. He will be remembered and missed by all. By request there will be no public services. His family will bed farewell at a private service.
