Marvin was a dedicated mill worker, contributing to the community through his diligent work and strong work ethic. He also served his country with honor, spending two years in the Army and serving in Korea, a period of his life he held in high regard.
An avid outdoorsman, Marvin found joy in hunting, fishing, camping, and gardening. His love for nature was evident in the many hours he spent enjoying these activities. Marvin and Gean also loved to travel, exploring new places and creating lasting memories together. He had a deep appreciation for country music, often found tapping his foot to the tunes that resonated with his soul.
Marvin is predeceased by his parents, Eura and Fred Smith, and his brothers, Federal and twin brother, Garvin Smith. He leaves behind a family who loved him dearly and countless friends who will miss his kind heart and generous spirit.
