Marion Elizabeth Woods

Oct. 31, 1925  – April 20, 2012 Sublimity, Oregon  Marion E. Woods, 86, passed away on  April 20, 2012  at her home in Sublimity.  She was the daughter of Thorpe and Christena Johnston.  Marion grew up in North Dakota and was married to Raymond Woods in California in 1944.  They made their home in the Southeast area of Portland where they raised all their children.  They moved to Sublimity 5 yrs. ago.  Marion enjoyed crafts and was a member of the Stitch and Twittle Club.  She made beautiful porcelain dolls and clothing and received many awards.   She attended the Presbyterian Church. In addition to her beloved husband, Raymond, she is survived by her children, Carol (Dave) Kruger of Aumsville, Gale (John) Schrepfer of Milwaukie, OR, Raymond Brent Woods of Wyoming, Linda (Dennis) Coburn of Oregon City; 10 grandchildren; and 8 great -grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia in 1976.  Celebration of life will be held at Weddle Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, April 25, 2012  11:00 A.M.  Private burial at Willamette National Cemetery, Portland.
