Marilyn Faye Payette

Marilyn Faye Payette, age 67, passed away on March 16, 2020 in Turner.Marilyn was born on May 27, 1952 on the family farm in Turner. She was the daughter of Floyd and Anna (Culver) Taylor. She attended Cascade High School and graduated in 1968. After graduation, she attended Chemeketa Community College before she began her career as a seamstress.Marilyn worked for Cal custom for 25 years - she greatly enjoyed her work and she was very talented! She also enjoyed gardening, going to the coast (where she enjoyed eating at the Chowder Bowl and shopping). She loved her family, shoes and clothes. Her faith was important to her, and she was a regular attendee at Mt. View Wesleyan Church in Aumsville. Marilyn is described by her family as outgoing, fun, beautiful and strong. Her presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Marilyn was preceded in passing by her parents. She is survived by her spouse, Steven Payette; her children, Melvin Gray, Jr., Tammy Sanchez and Annette Bass; grandchildren, Jameseddward “Jessy” Mann (wife, Adria), Melissa Anna Gray, Natasha AnnMarie Mann, Brittany Jade Jensen; Brandon Nicholas Skelton and Justin Dean Skelton; great grandchildren, Jameseddward “Sam” Mann, Aurora Mann, Nicholas James Alan Skelton, Waylen & Westlyn Jensen, and sister, Linda Lyons.
