Mardy Helen Thomas

Mardy Helen Thomas was born December 19, 1969, in Soldotna, Alaska, to Billy R and Karin Ida (Jaworski) Thomas. When she was young the family moved to Scio, Oregon, where she spent her childhood, graduating from Scio High School. As an adult, Mardy joined the plumber and pipefitter local 290 as an apprentice and worked her way up to licensed journeyman. Mardy was a genuinely happy person with a good, albeit quirky, sense of humor. She enjoyed her time spent with friends and family and always loved helping people. Mardy loved a good round of golf and was pretty good at the game. She also loved cats and working on cars. On August 29, 2020, Mardy suddenly and unexpectedly passed away at her home in Forest Grove. She is survived by her parents Billy and Karin and her brother Mark. The family will celebrate her life privately.
