Marcia Ann Robinson

Marcia Ann Robinson, age 75, passed away from natural causes on April 14, 2020 in Albany.Marcia was born on December 16, 1944 in Kelso, WA to Robert Rodrigues and Dolores Blakeley. She grew up and attended school in the Longview-Kelso area. In 1969, while living in Corvallis, Marcia met her future husband Joe Robinson. He was serving in the Airforce at the time, and it was love at first sight. They wed on August 15, 1969 – just 2 weeks after meeting! Marcia worked at hardware stores for much of her career, before she became a homemaker. She worked at True Value Hardware in Lebanon, and then at McGregor’s Hardware in Corvallis. She enjoyed watching baseball, going to the river, collecting knick knacks, crocheting, garage sailing, trips to the casino and traveling. When Joe retired, they took a memorable trip to Mt. Rushmore and the Grand Canyon. She also enjoyed the many trips that they took to Nevada. She was described by her family as feisty, adventurous and determined. Marcia is survived by her beloved husband, Joe Robinson; her children, Michael, Christopher and Heather Robinson; 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Teresa Joslin. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
