Lura Pauline Clifford

LURA  PAULINE  CLIFFORD June 21, 1920 – March 19, 2011 Lura was born the 21st of June, 1920 in Weiser, Idaho.  She grew up in Weiser and married her high school sweetheart Gerald Clifford, eventually settling in the Stayton area.  She passed away peacefully at home on March 19, 2011 at the age of 90.  We believe she had held off her passing to attend the wedding of her last grandson, Jon to his long time sweetheart, Tiffany.  They were married on March 5, with her in attendance.  She spent her life caretaking her family and being of service to her community and church.  She was greatly loved and appreciated by all and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her sons, Gerald (Duane), Raymond, and Britt Clifford. Her daughter, Corrine Jarrett-Saunders; grandchildren, Ben Jarrett, Summer Schmidgall,  &  Jon Shaffer; great granddaughters, Isabella Schmidgall & her sister who is due to make an appearance on August 26th. Memorial service will be held at the Stayton Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 10:00 am, Thursday, March 24, 2011. Arrangements entrusted to Weddle Funeral Services Stayton, OR.
