Luella I. Strom

Luella I. Strom Luella I. Strom was born at Escandido, CA on the 23rd of March, 1928.  She passed away on Sunday the 21st at her home in Aumsville.  She was 81.  The daughter of Tom and Flora Fleming. Luella lived most of her life in California, she was married to Charles Strom on Jan. 6, 1951 in Escandido, CA and they made their home in California before moving to Aumsville in 1985.  She was a homemaker and an active member of the New Hope Community Church.  She enjoyed making afghans, crossword puzzles, listening to music and spending time with family, she loved to laugh and joke. Charles preceded her in death on May 4, 2008 and she is survived by her sons, Clarence of Aumsville, Marvin of Klamath Falls; sister, Lucille Henderson of California; brothers, Glen Fleming of California, Gerald Fleming of Arizona; grandchildren, Melissa Stevens of Sherwood, OR, Matthew Strom of Klamath Falls, Mark Strom of Portland; and 4 great grandchildren. Memorial service will be Thurs. March 25th at 1:00 pm at the New Hope Community Church in Stayton. Memorial contributions may be made to the New Hope Community Church.
