Luan Lavina Donnelly

Mrs. Luan Lavina Donnelly, a loving and gentle soul, was born on July 29, 1949, in Lebanon, Oregon, and passed away in her beloved hometown on April 17, 2023. Throughout her life, Luan was a beacon of love and kindness, touching the lives of those fortunate enough to know her.

Luan was born to Paul Thomsen and Lavina Hackett in Lebanon, Oregon, where she spent her childhood alongside her two siblings, Duane and Gary.

On April 16, 1978, Luan married the love of her life, Ronald L. Donnelly, in Reno, Nevada. Their love story was one for the ages, filled with laughter, joy, and an unwavering commitment to one another. Together, they welcomed their beautiful daughter, Shannon K. Donnelly-Ropp, into the world, who would go on to bring immense pride and joy to her parents.

Luan's love for her family only grew as she became a doting grandmother to Saxon, Gretchen, Aryanna, Dayne, Finnley, and Abigail. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, and her gentle and loving nature made her the perfect role model for them. Her love for her family was evident in everything she did, and she leaves behind a legacy of love that will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.

As we mourn the loss of Luan Lavina Donnelly, we also celebrate the incredible life she led and the countless lives she touched. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and community members, and her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents, Paul and Lavina in addition to her brother, Duane. Luan is survived by her loving husband, Ronald L. Donnelly; her daughter, Shannon K. Donnelly-Ropp; her grandchildren, Saxon, Gretchen, Aryanna, Dayne, Finlley, and Abigail; her brother, Gary; and countless friends and extended family members who were blessed to have known her.
