Lowrie was born January 11 1952, in Portland Oregon. She was the daughter of Suzanne, Bill, and Dale. And sister to Marta, Geoffery, Christopher, Bill Jr and Diana. She passed away on August 23 2024 with her girls by her side.
Lowrie lived an adventurous life with many paths taken, usually the ones less traveled as they provided her wild spirit soul to run free. She spent the majority of her life in Oregon but had many places she called home. She had memories that most people dreamt of. Like sitting on stage on a speaker at a Fleetwood Mac concert, spending a summer gold mining in California, crossing the US 6 times, living in Hawaii, and so much more. In her later years Lowrie enjoyed going to the Saturday market, mastering new recipes in the kitchen, feeding her adopted stray cats, going to food/art fairs, gardening, and spending time with her kids, grandkids, and close friends. No matter where she was or what she was doing, there is 3 things for certain; she never left the house without Granny Pop (Diet Coke), never went a day without eating her Coffee flavored Häagen-Dazs ice cream, or missed sending her GNT (Granny Nap Time) text to her girls.
She is survived by her 2 daughters, Kari Morton and Stephanie Kuenzi; son-in-laws, Dave Morton and John Kuenzi; granddaughters, Ashleigh, Alexis, and Kyleigh; great grandchildren, Anthony, Ayden, Jayce, and Addie; great great grandson, Eliace.
Lowrie will be remembered for her great life stories, her resilience, and unbothered personality. She will be truly missed. But as the great Lynryd Skynrd said;
"If i leave here tomorrow would you still remeber me for i must be traveling on now cause there is too many places ive got to see!"
And now our Lowrie is set for her next adventure.
