Lorene Cooley Gulliford

LORENE COOLEY GULLIFORD Feb. 1, 1934 – Dec. 27, 2016 Lorene Gulliford passed away Tues. Dec. 27th. She was 82. The daughter, of Onie and Ersa Johnson. Lorene was raised in Kentucky. She was married to Elton Cooley and they made their home in Germany, then Arizona and Texas before moving to Salem in 1992 and then to North Santiam area. They later divorced.  She had worked as a real estate agent having retired in 2000. She was married to Jim Gulliford on March 15, 2002 and they made their home in Mill City Gates. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and spending time with her children. She is survived by her husband, Jim of Mill City; daughter, Roxanna Taylor of El Paso, Texas, sons, Elton Cooley of Texas and Onie Cooley of Mill City; daughter, Alice Barghini of Scio; sister, Linda O’Bryan of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; brothers; Bobby Johnson of Horsebranch, Kentucky and Charles Johnson of Florida; 11 grandchildren and     one     great grandchild.   Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Assoc. Private family service will be held. Arrangements entrusted to Weddle Funeral Services.
