AUMSVILLE - Our beloved mother, Lola Faye Davidson (Moma, Granny, Aunt Lola to her
loved ones), resident of West Stayton, OR, passed away peacefully in her home with her family
on February 26th, 2022 at the age of 98. Lola is survived by her family; Opal & Wendell Stanley, Leota Collier, Linda & James Jackson, Donny & Judy Davidson, Lisa Davidson & Paul, Johnny Davidson & Michelle; her sister, Betty Jo McAlester; and her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and numerous other dear family and friends in Oregon and Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leo Cleave Davidson; her father, Emmett Otis Warren; her mother, Lula Mae (Harris) Warren; her brother, Johnny Warren; her sisters, Mary Ross, Jessie Thomas, Nadine Carpenter; her granddaughter,
Teresa Collier and her son-in-law, Gene Collier. Lola was born in Hughes, OK on October 12th,
1923 to Emmitt & Lula Warren. She was married to Leo Davidson on January 24th, 1941. She moved to Oregon in 1959. The finest cook to have ever graced West Stayton, anyone who visited the big red house on the corner was always welcomed in to the smell of warm pies, chicken and dumplings, and biscuits and gravy that will go down in history.
Lola was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She touched the lives of all who were
fortunate enough to know her with her warmth and hospitality. Her welcoming nature was only
surpassed by her never-ending love for her loved ones. She lived for her family, now her family lives on for her. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022 at 12pm at Cascade View Free Methodist Church followed by burial at Lone Oak Cemetery at 2pm.
