Linda Earley was born on May 25, 1950 in Salem, Oregon to Merle and Agnes Minton. She would grow up in the Lyons-Mill City area, where she would graduate from Santiam High School. Linda was blessed to become a mother to her two children, Craig and Robin.
Through her life she was able to be well traveled and live in many areas of the United States. She would also live for a number of years in Panama and even a short time in Pakistan. Linda enjoyed traveling to new sights and learning about different cultures. Linda was also very ambitious and owned two businesses, her most recent, was Linda’s Dog House where she was a groomer.
Linda would marry Bruce Earley on May 26, 2007, and together they were able to retire in her hometown of Mill City. Linda loved to play online games with friends, loved to joke, laugh, and always had a story to tell.
She had a special place in her heart for all animals, having many through her life including a parrot named Charlie, and as a child, a favorite chicken. She always had a pet by her side. Linda also had a love for flowers of any kind.
Linda passed away on February 14, 2023, in Portland, Oregon at the age of 72. She was preceded in death by her parents, Merle and Agnes Minton; sister, Diana Reopelle and brother, Eddy Minton. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Earley; children, Craig McCall and Robin McCall; brother, David (Sandy) Minton; sister, Joyce (Monte) Guerin; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
