November 10, 1921 October 1, 2011 Born to Albert and Mabel Brinkman in Evensville, Indiana she grew up and graduated from High School there. During WWII Lillie moved to Los Angeles and helped the war effort by working on Air Craft. She also worked for Fuller Paint & Glass several years. She met Willard G. Scott on a blind date and they married February 3, 1951. They moved to Harrisburg, Oregon in 1974 and Scio in 1982 where they lived on their own piece of paradise. As a young girl, Lillie enjoyed Roller Skating and later stayed active through bowling in Stayton, making many lifelong friends and earning trophies. She belonged to the Victoria Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star serving in many capacities over her 40 + years as a member. Her family will miss her excellent cooking of many of their comfort foods and the memories made making candies and caramels at the holidays. Her presents will be deeply missed by her husband, Willard, sons; Wayne (Patt) Scott of Las Vegas, NV, Allen (Beverly) Scott of Lake City, FL.brother; Jack Brinkman of Evensville, IN, 4 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren. Memorial Service will be Wednesday, October 5, 2011 2:00 P.M. at Weddle Funeral Chapel, Stayton. Private Interment at Willamette National Cemetery.
