Leota Faye (Davidson) Collier, (Meme), beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, was called home June 26th, 2023.


Leota lives on through her family; her son, Donny Collier & Angie; her grandchildren, Travis Collier & Lorissa, Kassi & Sean Coleman, Danny Collier, & Lakota Collier; great-grandchildren, James, Lilly, & Emma; her sisters, Opal, Lynda, & Lisa; and brothers, Donny & Johnny.


She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Collier; her beloved daughter, Teresa Collier; and her parents, Leo & Lola Davidson.


Leota was born in Red Oak, Oklahoma on April 22nd, 1943 to Leo & Lola Davidson. They moved to Oregon in 1959 where she began her senior year at Cascade High School and was pronounced the homecoming queen. She then graduated from Fanshaw High School in Oklahoma later that year.


She then went on to marry Gene Collier of Turner, Oregon on April 8th, 1963.


Leota’s life was full and filled with love. Her home was warm and open to any and all. Her considerable strength and perseverance was truly a sight to behold. She loved fiercely and unconditionally and touched the lives of all those who were fortunate enough to know her.


Her family was her world and her beautiful soul will live on in our hearts forever.
