Leon Ray Huffman Mcconnell

Leon Ray Huffman McConnell was born on October 13, 1959 to his mother and father, Sharon Mason and Merle Ray Huffman in Visalia, California.  He would be raised by his mother and dad Roy McConnell. As a child Leon would move with his family to Oregon where he lived graduated from Sweet Home, High School in Sweet Home, Oregon.  Leon and Iva Wisterman started their lives together in 1979.  Their mothers were friends. They married in Sweet Home, Oregon on December 31, 1985 in Sweet Home, Oregon.They lived in Visalia, CA for some years where Leon worked with his father plumbing and learned his construction.  They returned to Oregon where his final job was as a Civil Engineering Supervisor for Advanced Mechanical Inc.  In his spare time, Leon enjoyed outdoor activities.  He enjoyed hunting traveling and fishing.  Leons family was very important to him and being surrounded by their love filled his heart with joy.  On October 6, 2021, Leon passed away in Lebanon, Oregon surrounded by family.  He was preceded in passing by his parents.  He is survived by his loving wife, Iva; children, Cooper (Terri) and Shasta (Brett); grandchildren Paige, Edily, Jodi, Gary and Melanie; and siblings, Lorraine, James, Thomas, and Johnny.
