Leanna Townsend

Leanna Townsend was born August 24, 1957, in Rupert, Idaho, to William and Ruth (Hansen) Townsend. After graduating high school, she took some classes at Chemeketa Community College in Salem, Oregon. Over the years she had a fulfilling career in caregiving and being a homemaker. Leanna found peace in the outdoors and loved all animals including cats, birds, and squirrels. She also enjoyed listening to all types of music, especially rock. She deeply valued her beloved friends, family, and children. For the last 30 years, Leanna made her home in the Santiam Canyon community of Mill City.  On September 17, 2021, Leanna passed away her home in Mill City. She was preceded in death by her parents. Leanna is survived by her children Wil Tichenor and Iris Tichenor and her grandson Elijah Tichenor.
