Keith M. Brown

Keith M. Brown August 13, 1923 January 30, 2011 Keith was born in San Francisco, California, and peacefully passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2011 in Salem, OR.  He was attended by his loving daughter Gracian Howard and Lucy Ionita when he drew his last breath.  Keith lived in many places as a young man and at the age of 17 joined the Merchant Marines to serve during WWII.  After Keith returned to California to complete a business degree and later moved to San Francisco, CA where he met and married his true love, Frances G. Brown.  He raised his family in the Bay Area and then retired to Sonora, CA where he lived for about 25 years.  He went to live with his youngest daughter Gracian Howard.   Gracian and her family moved to Oregon about 3-1/2 years ago and Keith always resided nearby.   Keith is survived by his two daughters and their spouses Lisa and Douglas Webb of Los Altos, CA, Gracian and Aaron Howard of Stayton, OR, and his son Barry Brown of Modesto, CA. Keith is also survived by his grandchildren Alexandra Philippe, Shauna Brubaker, Brandy Yowell, Derek Webb, Megan Yowell, Cassie Yowell, Collin Webb, and Great Granddaughter ,Sara Miranda Philippe.  He was preceded in death by his wife Frances G. Brown and son Murray Brown. A celebration of his life and good ol fashion Wake will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at DaVinci Ristorante, Salem OR from 6 to 10pm.   All those interested please contact his daughter Gracian Howard at keithbrownwake@hotmail.com.
