Karen Lee (Peterson) Myers, 75, passed away on September 20, 2022, in Stayton, Oregon. She was born on September 26, 1947, in Roseburg, Oregon to Kenneth and Ila (Mess) Peterson.
Karen lived in various places throughout the United States including Oregon, Florida, California, and Oregon. She graduated from Hoover High School in San Diego in 1966. She then attended and graduated from Chemeketa Community College with an associate degree and CNA licensure in 1984.
Through mutual friends Karen almost instantly fell in love with Allen Myers. They were married on May 4th, 1985.
She touched many lives as a teacher aid and school bus driver for Aumsville Elementary, and worked as a CNA for group homes, including Spruce Villa where she cared for disabled adults.
Karen will be remembered for her kindness, loving, and forgiving nature. She loved her friends, family, and God. She loved to go fishing, visits to the beach and casino.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Joanne.
She is survived by her husband, Allen Myers, son, Jonathan Myers, grandchildren, Jonathan Myers and Isabel Myers, and her brother Ken Peterson.
