Karen Georgene Germond

Karen Georgene Germond May 14, 1943 – March 17, 2011 Stayton, Oregon She was born in Nampa Idaho, and later moved to Stayton Oregon in 1953. She is preceded in death by her parents; Gerald Stephen Hosford and Georgia Emalyn Hosford. She went to be with our Lord after a 22 month battle with brain and lung cancer. She had a kind and gentle soul. She was a loving, patience mother, wife, and friend. She married William (Bill) Germond on November 17, 1961. Their fiftieth anniversary would have been this year. She graduated from Stayton High School in 1961. She loved her flowers, cooking, canning, bible study and going to the beach. She worked and went to school for a short while before starting her family. She is survived by her husband Bill Germond Sr. of Turner, Daughter; Kari (Russell) Jordan of Turner, Kollette (Ralph) Russo of Stayton, Son; Bill (Shaw) Germond Jr. of Jefferson, Grandchildren; Nicole (Jordan) Brown, Breanna Jordan, Danial Russo, Cheyenne Jordan, Killian Germond, Hannah Germond, Trinity Germond, Great Grandson; Gabriel Brown, Brother; Ed (Jeri) Hosford of Salem, Sisters; Jeriylyn (Marv) Wilder of Eugene, Tami (Ray) Van Tassel of Salem.
