Kane Todd Riley

Kane Riley, a beloved son, brother, husband, and father, passed away on July 5, 2023, in Coos Bay, Oregon. Born on August 17, 1978, in Redding, California, Kane was known for his hard work, dedication to his family, and his love for the great outdoors.


Kane is survived by his loving wife, Odessa Riley, his dedicated brother, Casey Riley, his two cherished daughters, Sierra and Julia Riley and his parents, Tim and Carol Riley. His family remembers him as a pillar of strength and a source of endless support and love.


A proud graduate of the class of 1996, Kane's work ethic shone through in his career. He dedicated 25 years of his life as an Alignment technician at Les Schwab. In January 2023, he began a new journey as a Regional Facility Maintenance Technician at Walmart, bringing his unparalleled skills and dedication to a new team.


Kane's passions extended beyond his work. He was an avid enthusiast of RC cars and mechanics, often sharing his knowledge and skills with his loved ones. He found peace in the beauty of nature, would frequently find any reason to go to the beach, hiking at Silver Falls and Cape Lookout, and riding his ATV at the dunes and beach trails. Browns Camp offered breathtaking nature trail rides as well. His love for scenic motorcycle rides and camping trips was infectious. Kane also found joy in the simpler things in life, often helping his wife with dinner preparations and he always had the first cup of coffee ready for Dessa. Kane enjoyed Kayaking with Sierra in Detroit and building Lego sets with his daughter Julia.


Kane Riley's life was a testament to his unwavering dedication to his family, his work, and his passions. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
