Judy Marlene Emerson

Judy M. Emerson, age 75, of Salem, Oregon, passed away on November 5, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Waldo Emerson Sr and Mary Emerson; two siblings, Richard Emerson and Ralph Emerson Jr (Janet Emerson); and a grandson, Parker Emerson

Ms. Emerson is survived by her two children Matthew Emerson (Khellie Emerson) and Stacey Emerson Thoming; her grandchildren Dakota Thoming, Sydney Emerson, Skylar Emerson, and Cameron Emerson; her siblings, Robert Emerson, Roger Emerson, Joyce Emerson Hlopek, and nieces and nephews.

She was born on the coast of Toledo, Oregon, but spent most of her childhood in Bend, Oregon. She eventually moved to Salem, Oregon, where she would raise her own family. She enjoyed watching concerts, plays, and taking road trips across the country. She especially loved visiting Arizona to see her son and his family. She adored all of her grandchildren.

Ms. Emerson was loved and will deeply be missed by her family and friends. Her kindness will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know and love her.

Ms. Emerson requested to be cremated and have her ashes sprinkled on top of Pilot Butte in Bend, Oregon.
