Juanita Mae Cornwell

Juanita Mae Cornwell June 27, 1926 – July 30, 2011 Mill City, Oregon Juanita, 85, passed away peacefully in the company of her family on July 30th, 2011 in Mill City, Oregon.  She was born in Cogswell, North Dakota on June 27, 1926.  She married Arnold Cornwell on September 9, 1944 in St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Wilmington, North Carolina.  She moved to Oregon with her husband in 1985.  She was a homemaker and loved to go shopping and spend time with her family.  Arnold preceded her in death on June 26, 2006. Juanita is survived by her eight children; Marcia Graves of Scio, Oregon, Stephen Cornwell of Lyons, Oregon, Kim Cornwell of Kodiak, Alaska, Bonnie Lomax of Mill City, Oregon, Mark Cornwell of Corona, California, Dee Dee Meadors of Corbin, Kentucky, Rhonda Johnston of Garden Grove, California, and Kevin Cornwell of Garden Grove, California.  She is also survived by her sister, Annette Leoni of Northern California, seventeen Grandchildren, twenty Great Grandchildren, and four Great Great Grandchildren. A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Fairview Cemetary in Gates, Oregon. Arrangements entrusted to Weddle Funeral Services Stayton, OR.
