Joy D. Collins

Joy D. Collins Turner, Oregon March 13, 1918 April 3, 2010 Joy was born at Glendale, Oregon on the 13th day of March, 1918.  She passed away on Sat. April 3rd at her home in Turner.  She was 92.  The daughter of Park and Doris Nomer. Joy was married to Joseph Collins at Medford in 1940, he preceded her in death in 1973. She was a member of the Turner Christian Church and served on missions in Austria and the Philippines. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, needlepoint, gardening and fishing. She had worked as a real estate broker before retiring. She is survived by her children; Deloris De Douglass of Portland, OR, Douglas Collins of Wilder, Idaho,  Helene Tolson of Roseville, California, Joe Collins of Springfield, OR and foster daughter, Lois Gardner of Salem, OR;  14 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.
