Joseph Andrew Morrison

Joseph Andrew Morrison was born on March 9, 1951, in Dearborn, Michigan to Joseph R. and Madeline (Chapp) Morrison. He would grow up in Michigan and would go on to graduate from Novi High School with the class of 1969.  After high school Joseph would attend community college for some time before enlisting in the United States Army.  He was discharged in 1980 with the rank of SP5.   After military service Joseph moved to Klamath Falls Oregon for some time before moving to Silverton Oregon. A short time after moving to Silverton Joseph started Foothills Medical Supply which has now been passed down to his children Jedediah and Joshua. Joseph loved his business and would spend countless hours running it and helping many people in need. Also, it was through his business that he met Fran Boone.  The two started dating and would be married on December 28, 2019, in Salem, Oregon.   Joseph love to travel especially driving around. He also enjoyed reading, golfing, fishing and playing pool. Most of all though, he loved his family, and they were especially important to him. He loved to spend time with the grandchildren and find ways to make people smile. He loved to laugh. Joseph was someone that read people very well so he was able to figure out the special something that would brighten somebody’s day. He also enjoyed history and geology.   On June 20, 2021, Joseph passed away in Salem, Oregon surrounded by family. He was preceded in passing by his father, Joseph R.; brother, Michael; and nephew, Robbie. He is survived by his loving wife, Fran; children, Jedidiah and his wife, Molly, Joshua, and Jamie; grandchildren, Jackson, Jefferson, Haleigh, and Lily; mother, Madeline; stepfather, James; siblings, Dave, Peggy, Jimmy, Cristina, and Kathy; as well as many uncle's, aunt's, cousin's niece's, nephew's, and in-laws who all had a special place in Joseph's heart.   A public visitation will take place at Weddle Funeral Service in Stayton, Oregon on June 29, 2021, from 4 PM to 6 PM with a graveside service to be held at Miller Cemetery in Silverton on June 30, 2021, at 2 PM.
