John Kenneth Pettner

John Kenneth Pettner was born on December 23, 1948, just two days prior to Christmas to William and Evelyn (Morris) Pettner in Edmond, Oklahoma. He grew up with his 3 siblings, Lisa, Les and David. He would graduate from high school and after would join the United States Army. After his honorable discharge, John would attend some college, but would find his passion as an owner of a mechanic business. For 23 years he would reside in Alaska and Oregon. He would meet the love of his life Angela Duncan and they would marry at American Legion in Anchorage Alaska on July 26, 1997. Besides work and family, John enjoyed hunting, fishing, and making knives. His best days were mostly spent outside. John passed away on September 28, 2021 in Lebanon, Oregon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louise and William in addition to his son, Gary and brother, David. He is survived by his wife, Angela Pettner; children, Ramona and William; grandchildren, Zack, Haley and Garret in addition to his siblings, Lisa and Les.
