John Clifford Duman, 91, of Turner, Oregon, passed away on February 17, 2025. He was born on April 16, 1933, to Aloysius and Marie Duman.

A proud graduate of Stayton High School’s Class of 1951, Cliff went on to serve his country honorably as a U.S. Navy veteran during the Korean War. Following his military service, he dedicated 33 years to the Oregon State Police, rising to the rank of Major before retiring in 1989.

On November 20, 1955, Cliff married the love of his life, Lillian Wynona Bales, and together they built a family filled with love and cherished memories. He was a devoted father to Rena Duman, Michael Duman, and Raymond Duman, and a proud grandfather to Matthew Duman, Allison Duman, Stacy Spriet, Mitchell Duman, and Alex Perea.

Cliff had a deep appreciation for the outdoors, spending his time gardening, hunting, and traveling. He was known for his strong work ethic, unwavering dedication to his family, and his quiet but steadfast presence in the lives of those he loved.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lillian, his parents, Alyidus and Marie, his son, Jeffrey Duman, and all of his siblings.

Cliff’s legacy of service, integrity, and love will be forever remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
