John B. Robinson

John B. Robinson, 70, was born in Everett, Washington on September 12, 1951, born to Robert and Esther (Wilson) Robinson.  He grew up on Whidbey Island where he developed his love of nature and wildlife.  He passed away in Portland, Oregon on September 22, 2021, after an 18-month long battle with cancer.  We acknowledge the loving care He received at OHSU.  He married Joan Crippan on April 4, 1970; they were married for 51 years.John was a talented fisherman and wildlife trapper.  He loved to hunt, camp, and spend time outdoors.  He loved watching movies and westerns, especially Gunsmoke.John is survived by his loving wife, Joan Robinson; son, Robert Robinson; daughter, Ann Robinson-Glenn; son-in-law Michael Glenn; brother Jim Robinson; brother Mike Robinson, and sister Jeanne Hicks.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Esther Robinson; brother Robert Robinson; sister Julie Robinson-Hanley; sister Molly McGee.A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 9th at 1:00 pm at St. Mary Catholic Church-Shaw in Aumsville, Oregon with a reception to follow.
