Jane Alice (Marcellus) Nave Feb. 17, 1935 Sept. 27, 2010 Keizer, Oregon Jane Alice (Marcellus) Nave passed away on Sept. 27, 2010, at the home of her son. Jane was born in Custer, South Dakota, on Feb. 17, 1935, to Myron and Rose Marcellus. She married the love of her life, Drell Nave, on Feb. 14, 1955. Together they had three sons, Rory, Randy and Ricky. Drell passed away in 1970. Their youngest son, Ricky, born with birth defects, lived at Lakeland Village Health Care Facility in Medical Lake, Washington, until he passed away in 1991. Jane had been an active member of Lakeland Village Advisory board for many years. When Jane entered the workforce, she held a variety of jobs. She worked at WSU in the admissions department, in Spokane at Gonzaga University in the finance department and for Prudential insurance company. She moved to Jackson, California, to be closer to her sons in 1989, where she worked for Wal-Mart and was in charge of the greeting card department. When her sons moved to Oregon in 1993, she relocated to Keizer and worked in the jewelry department for Wal-Mart before becoming employed with AARP, helping with senior job placement until her retirement. Jane loved to be near her sons, Rory and Randy. She enjoyed family gatherings, traveling with her friends and making memories with her grandchildren. She was an excellent seamstress, and more than once sewed bridal party dresses for the family and shirts for her sons. She loved to garden and bake; her wonderful holiday pies will be greatly missed. Jane will be remembered most for her soft spoken and gentle disposition, and her lady-like style. Jane leaves behind her son, Rory of Jefferson, Oregon, and his wife, Cheryl and their daughters, Rochelle, Amy and Marlea and four great-grandchildren; her son, Randy of Newberg, Oregon, and his wife, Diane, daughter, Leah and son, Levi; and her brother, Ace Marcellus and his wife, Liz of Pioneer, California. A simple family gathering was held in Pullman City Cemetery in Pullman, Washington, where Jane was laid to rest between her husband and son. Contributions in Janes memory may be made to the American Cancer Society . Arrangements entrusted to Weddle Funeral Services
