James O. Budlong

James O. Budlong September 5, 1925 – November 27, 2010 Mill City, OR ‘Jim’ Budlong, 85, died Saturday evening at his home outside of Mill City.  Jim, one of 10 children, was born in Salem and raised in the Santiam Canyon, living many years on the families “Century Farm”.  He married Bobbie Blan in March 1951 and they had three children.  Jim worked as a logger until he retired in 1992.  In retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family, being an avid gardener, and working on the family farm.  Jim is survived by his wife, Bobbie,  their children; Dennis of Eugene, Russell of Salem, and Susan O’Leary of Portland; six grandchildren; six great-grand children; brothers; Richard, Carl and Robert all of Mill City.  Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December 2, 2010 with a reception to follow all at Weddle Funeral Chapel in Stayton.  Contributions may be made to Mill City Fire Department.  Arrangements entrusted to Weddle Funeral Services.   Online condolences to Weddle-Funeral.Com.
