James Davidson

James R. Davidson, 81, of Stayton, Oregon, passed away peacefully on March 09, 2025. He was born on August 28, 1943, in California to Connie and Steve Davidson and was one of nine children.

James attended South Salem High School and graduated in 1962. In 1979, he made Stayton his home, where he lived for the rest of his life. He worked for many years at the mushroom plant in Salem, where he was a dedicated and hardworking employee.

He had a passion for collecting and took great pride in his extensive collections of Star Trek memorabilia, WWE merchandise, and Lone Ranger keepsakes. His enthusiasm for these interests was well known among family and friends.

James was preceded in death by his parents, two of his children and all of his siblings: Joan Murphy, Larry Davidson, Steve Davidson, Bobby Davidson, Edward Davidson, William Davidson, LeeRoy Davidson, Maxiene Sarvey, Kimberly Davidson, and Jimmy Davidson.

He is survived by his children Shelley Grieve and Amanda Davidson; as well as his beloved grandchildren: Jeremy Davidson, Tiresha Davidson, Chris Davidson, Brandy Davidson, Ashley Davidson, Cheyenne Davidson, Cyndi Davidson, Jamie Davidson, Audrey Davidson, and Elizabeth Davidson.

James will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
