Henrietta M. Mielke

Henrietta Mary Mielke passed away at her home on December 23rd.  She was born in Lyons, Oregon to Robert P. Lyons and Ruthe I. (Wilson) Lyons.  She was part of the founding family of Lyons.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Cyril Lyons and Jerry Lyons and sister Theresa Lyons. Henrietta worked as a secretary for the schools for many years.  In retirement she enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling to the coast. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, George Mielke, daughters Carolyn Boyd and Patti Herman both of Albany, two grandchildren, and four greatgrandchildren, two sisters, Esther Gisler and Ruthe Jungwirth, and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church in Albany, Oregon on Tuesday, December 28th at 1:00 p.m. She was the heart of our family and will surely be missed.
