Helen Frances Adamson

January 20, 1921 December 14, 2011 Sublimity, Oregon Helen F. Adamson, 90, entered into rest Wednesday, December 14. She was born to Carl W. and Beulah (Adams) Porter Sr.  A Missouri native, she moved to  California in 1940.  Carl R. Adamson  became her husband on May 30, 1942.  She worked as a beautician.  In 1990 they moved to Sublimity.  Dancing, traveling, sewing and cooking were some of her favorite things.  She was a member of the United Methodist Church and spent many hours serving her church.  She is survived by her husband; Bob, daughter; Marie Annis, son; Roger (Kathy) Adamson , siblings; Carl  Porter, Lena Taylor, Evelyn Coats, Ruth Olson, Betty Niehoff, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings; Albert, Harold and Ruby.  Memorial Service: Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011 at 10:00 AM , Stayton United Methodist Church.
