Heather Marie (Dixon) Morris was born to Jean Jensen and Max Dixon on November 17, 1972 in Albany, Oregon. One of 5 siblings, she is survived by her brothers and sisters Christopher Jensen, Shannon Dixon, Shawn Dixon and Nichole Cromwell. She was the mother of 5 children, Joshua Morris, Conner Morris, Dakota Morris, Kendall Foster and Gauge Foster; and a grandmother to Hunter Morris, Oliver Morris, and one more baby Morris on the way. She also leaves behind a loving partner, Sean Litster. Heather succumbed to a brain aneurysm and passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on July 14, 2020. If you ask anyone about who Heather was, the first they say is “sassy”. An artist who specialized in painting and woodworking, you can see her artwork at businesses and gardens all around town, including the mural at the humane society of Salem. She had a tough exterior which allowed her to fearlessly attempt and conquer many tasks. However, her heart of gold was how she not only shared her love with those around her, but how she will be remembered by all of her family and friends. They say she never met a stranger, because she never judged others for their faults, as she never wanted to be judged for her own. The family will be holding an outdoor celebration of life August 8th at 2:00pm, at 4217 37th Avenue SE, Salem, OR 97317. We would invite you to come as you are, for a very non-traditional event…just as Heather would have wanted. The family has set up a GoFundMe Page to help cover the costs of the event.
