Harvey Ford

Harvey Ford was born on April 14, 1945 in Turner, Oregon to Ellis Earl and Ollie Jane (Parris) Ford. Harvey worked in the plywood mils industry for over 30 years, completed a Commercial Trades Building Construction program, worked as a general contractor, a warranty specialist in manufactured housing as well a building maintenance supervisor for Shangri-la.

Harvey and Ginger were married April 30, 1966 in Oak Grove, Oregon. He enjoyed his horses, fishing, hunting and especially enjoyed time spent with his family. He loved to sing gospel, country and bluegrass songs.

On June 27, 2022, Harvey passed away in Salem, Oregon surrounded by family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Ollie; and siblings, Merlin, Melvin, Earl, Buddy, Marvin and twin sisters. He is survived by his loving wife, Ginger; children, Angela, Julie (Brian), Chrissy, and James; grandchildren, Jacob, Trent, Kelsey, Sadie, Kylie, Jessica, Shay, and Payton; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Maverick and Mac; and siblings, Ron, Patty, and Waunda. He was also loved by many neices and nephews which were very important to him.
