Gwendolyn Dean Shields

Lebanon- Gwendolyn Dean Shields passed away on August 18, 2021, in Lebanon, OR at age, 87 years of age. She is survived by her son, Kevin Shields; grandchildren, Brady Shields, Stephanie Corrington, Rachel Parks, Travis Shields, Jena Shields; siblings, Joyce Bell and Marti Pitts and great grandchildren, Avery Shields, Emily Blackburn, Kurtis Corrington and Fiona Parks. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Donald Shields and a son, Gary Donald Shields. Gwendolyn was born on June 27, 1934 in Kentucky and raised by her mother Naomi Brown and stepfather Hallet Brown. After graduating from high school she married Donald Shields on December 18, 1954. They would have two children and Gwendolyn would focus on being at home with her children. Throughout her life, Gwendolyn would live in California, Texas, Oregon, Kentucky and Michigan. One thing that always stayed a complete constant was her great faith and attended Liberty Baptist Church.
