Greg Lee Farris

July 6, 1965 — June 17, 2022

On June 17, 2022, our Son, Husband, Father and Grandfather, left our family peacefully at home with his loving wife Rachel at his side. He will not only truly be missed but remembered for the life and love he gave us all. He was an independent soul; seldom asking for help but always willing to do whatever was needed. Gregg would never turn down a friend that needed help.

Gregg was born July 6 th , 1965 in Salt Lake City, Utah. His family relocated to Oregon in 1969 where he has resided until his passing. In his earlier years, he acquired a passion for playing the drums and prior to graduation from Aloha High School, he was a member of the school band. An avid hunter and fisherman, he enjoyed and respected the “out of doors”.

Early in his career he worked in construction framing homes and building pole buildings. He found his calling however, shoeing horses and became a professional Ferrier. Gregg was a devoted father in raising his three children. They were his top priority and legacy! Having married Rachel Halligan, on September 25th. 2021, he found new happiness and the true love of his life. Together they have enjoyed and shared their children and grandkids. Gregg loved them all. His life was just too short!
